As part of an improvement to our Auto Scaling groups configuration, an incorrect security group was applied to outbound connections for the CardConnect gateway. Thus, once the auto scaling started to take place, the configuration was applied to all deployed instances causing all Spreedly outbound CardConnect connections to fail. This was not an issue with the CardConnect gateway itself.
This interruption in service to CardConnect occurred between 2021-12-01 22:38 - 2021-12-02 03:00 (4 hours, 22 minutes).
Spreedly will complete an internal review of documentation and processes that lead to this incorrect security group being applied to the outbound connection.
